Kanchanaburi

hello all.

paid 15 pounds for a two day and one night all inclusive trip to the place made famous by the bridge over the river kwai.

the accommodation was brillant, a river bungalow, which was better than most places iv stayed in.

first thing in the morning we were taken to the POW cemetry and to the bridge to look around.

the afternoon was spent at a waterfall which was fun for 30 mins, but got boring after 3h.

The next day was fun as we went elephant trekking in the woods and our elephant was used for shaking the fruit from the trees which was fun for us and the elephant. On the way back to the camp the four elephants had a race.

The afternoon was spent floating down the river on a bamboo raft which was very relaxing .
